🧸 🩺 Teddy Bear Clinic

Saturday, August 30,  8 am-12 pm, Falls Church Farmers Market

Have a well loved teddy or stuffed animal in need of TLC? Bring them to the Teddy Bear Fix-It clinic! Meet neighbors, practice your sewing skills, and keep one less stuffy out of the landfill. Want to volunteer to help sew and repair? Reply to this email and let us know!

🏠️📽️ RSVP! Fault Lines Documentary Screening

SUNDAY, September 7, 3:15 pm-7 pm, Mosaic Angelika, FFX, VA

Can we build a future where everyone can afford to live in the region they know and love? Join us for a special screening of Fault Lines, a documentary exploring the housing and homelessness crisis, followed by a panel discussion with regional leaders and a social hour to continue the dialog. The movie starts at 3:30 pm, followed by a panel from 5 pm-6 pm, and ends with a social hour from 6 pm-7pm. Seats are going fast, be sure to RSVP!

🏘️ 👋 New Neighbor Welcome Kits and National Good Neighbor Day Proclamation

Join us to support the National Good Neighbor Day proclamation and help celebrate the launch of our new Welcome Kits!

The Welcome Kit includes a fun post card with great tips and a number of vouchers from local businesses with great discounts!

🍂 🍁📣 Leave the Leaves Proclamation

Monday, September 8, 7:15 pm, City Hall

Join us to support the Leave the Leaves Proclamation and try your hand at giving public comment. We’ll walk you through the sign up process and if you’re up for it, we’ll provide a script so you can get a feel for what it’s like to speak from the podium. We’ll meet on the City Hall steps at 7:15 pm and go in as a group at 7:25 pm. Email us to let us know you're coming!

🗳️ 🗣️ City Council Candidate Forum: Save the date and call for questions!

This year there are 6 candidates running for 4 Council seats. Join us at our candidate forum to gain a deeper understanding of each candidates' priorities. It is a valuable opportunity for civic engagement that informs your vote and influences the election process!
