Here are some of our favorite things to do...
I love grabbing a coffee at Godfrey's before letting my kids leap from stump to stump or spy on a beaver dam in Howard E Herman park. If it's raining, we'll head over to Tot time at the Community Center or hunt for treasures at Local Thrift. I also love giving and finding used goods through my local Buy Nothing group.

I'll take a business meeting in the free meeting rooms at the Mary Riley Styles Public Library and pick up free coffee grounds for my garden at Rare Bird Coffee Roasters on my way home. I love to end the day at Spacebar with some vegan grilled cheese sandwiches & local beer.

Any day that starts with Preservation Biscuit is a great one (they have amazing biscuits and jams), and then I'll usually go next door to Bakeshop for a Nutella peanut butter pie or an ice cream sandwich to go. My day would end hanging out at Bowl America -- they have unlimited bowling for a reasonable price on Monday nights after 8pm!

If you want to learn a little history, stop by the Tinner Hill neighborhood. You can find the Written in Stone Walkway, the Tinner Hill Memorial Arch, the amazing new mural, the Tinner Hill Historic Park, Women's History Sidewalk tour and so much more. You might be hungry after all that walking-- try a restaurant nearby like Borek-G Turkish Mom's Cooking.

For an artsy day, I like to a knitting class at TINT workshop or try oil painting at Falls Church Arts. I'll stop by Clay Cafe for some pottery lessons, check out all the amazing small art studios at 307 Annandale Rd and then unwind at a Creative Cauldron production.

For me a good night in Falls Church looks like Friday night magic at Victory Comics, or perhaps Trivia Nights at Solace Brewery. The $5 Comedy nights at the State Theatre are a ton of fun. And definitely dinner at La Tingeria-- everything is amazing, but definitely try the churros.

I love riding my bike with friends on the Washington & Old Dominion rail trail then heading to Thanh Son Tofu in Eden Center for delicious Vietnamese style firm tofu. Then I'll head to Cherry Hill Park to play volleyball and hangout with friends.

On Saturdays I love to explore the Farmer's Market and then stop by Northside Social for blueberry iced tea. During the week I love to unwind with the Philosophy Nights at Karma Yoga.

On summer day, we love going to the Big Chimneys Playground (perfect for children of all ages), taking a look at some clever gift ideas at Stylish Patina, visiting the Mary Riley Styles Public Library for some newly recommended literary treasures, and in the evening going to a summer concert or movie night in Cherry Hill Park.
