February Happy Hour, All-Member Meeting, Call for Clubs and upcoming events!

Happy February, Falls Church Forward —

We hope you all stayed safe during the winter snowstorm and are now happily defrosting and ready to gather once again. See below for upcoming events and activities:

🍻🎦 February Happy Hour – Join us for our monthly happy hour this Thursday, February 19 from 530-7 pm at Paragon Theaters Founders Row, 112 Founders Ave. We'll be hanging out in the theater lobby which features a bar and bites. Hope to see you there!

🚗 🚙 February All-Member Meeting – Join us on Sunday, February 22 from 3-5 pm at 105 W. Broad St, 5th Floor. We'll be learning about how parking shapes our world, reform happening across the US, and discuss why it matters for Falls Church.

🗣️🤝 Call for Clubs – Do you know of a local club or group that meets regularly? We'd love to know about it so that we can refresh our online community directory.

🚶🚶‍♀️ Memorial Day Parade – The Falls Church Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for Monday, May 25 and preparations are underway. If you’re interested in helping organize a group to march in the parade, please let us know!

🏛️🤓 March All-Member Meeting – Join us on Sunday, March 22 from 2-4 pm for Civics Boot Camp. Come learn about or refresh your knowledge of how local government operates and ways to actively participate in shaping the services and policies that affect our everyday life. Event details coming soon.

🌳🧹 Howard Herman Park Clean Up – Join us on Saturday, April 11 from 10 am- 12 pm for some spring cleaning at Howard Herman Park (which we officially adopted last year). After the clean up, we’ll close with a fun group activity. Stay tuned for more info!
