Hey Falls Green!

We hope you can join us for pizza and a talk about urban design on Tuesday April 18 at 7pm in the community room.

Join us for Pizza, a TED* Talk and discussion

Learn about new projects coming to Falls Church and how you can shape our urban landscape

Imagine a daily routine that is filled with fresh air, exercise, and the chance to interact with your neighbors, where you (and your kids) can walk down vibrant streets, and feel truly connected to your surroundings.

Or perhaps a world where housing and transit aren't the first and third biggest expenses in your budget. What are the steps to get there, and what can we do in Falls Church? We'll talk about how urban design can create (or destroy) neighborhoods that foster relationships and community, improve housing options, encourage walkable spaces, and support the environment.

  • How can we design our public spaces, streets and sidewalks to be safe for kids?
  • How can urban design bring communities together?
  • What projects are happening in Falls Church?

*as TED-like as we can make it :)

Mission

We are a coalition of Falls Church residents and civic leaders
who are taking the long view to imagine, advocate, and work
for a Falls Church that is welcoming, vibrant, and sustainable.

To do so, we are coming together as an active, vocal, political base
of support for city policies, projects and programs that promote
the pillars of our city’s openness, vibrancy, and sustainability.
