Falls Church Forward has some exciting updates for our Sunday September 17th 4pm meeting focused on housing:
How do increases in new housing impact the cost of rent? Can new housing supply do anything to help homeless populations? What happens when growing numbers of people are rent burdened? What can we do in Falls Church to better support housing in our community?
We'll talk about these questions and more with Alex Horowitz, Project Director for Housing Policy at Pew, who will discuss his ground-breaking research on housing and affordability. We'll also talk with the chair of the FC Housing Commission about the current state of housing in Falls Church and affordable housing initiatives that are underway.
The meeting will take place at Founders Row Modera Club Room. We are almost 1 week away-- RSVP here.
