Hello!
A quick reminder that our next event is coming up on Sunday, May 7th at 4pm (just a little over a week from now) at the Community Center.
We hope you can join us for food and a rousing discussion about how we can improve our urban landscape. We're inviting Jane King from AARP to talk about how to foster communities that are safe, accessable, vibrant for all ages and abilities.
Let us know if you think you can make it (that way we'll have enough food!):

Also, let us know soon if you'd like to join the Memorial Day parade (or know a kid who wants to join!). We'll have a cookout at Justine's place before we line up (her place is about a block away from the start)-- let us know if you want to join either the Memorial Day cookout and/or the parade!
If you can't make it, we will have many more events coming up in June and beyond, so we look forward to seeing you all soon!

How can we make Falls Church more livable and accessible for people of all ages? Join us for food and discussion with Jane King from AARP's Livable Communities program. We'll talk about how we can get people where they want to go, whether or not they own a car, how we can design public spaces that foster interactions and relationships, how we can provide a variety of housing options and build places where people can live, work, shop and access healthcare. Co-sponsored by Falls Church Forward, the League of Women Voters and Falls Church Human Services Advisory Council. RSVP HERE
